AHA & AAP NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM (NRP®) PROVIDER
Audience
For healthcare providers who care for neonates or newborns, such as EMS, ED, NICU staff, L&D staff, and other healthcare providers who participate in neonatal emergency care & resuscitation.
Objectives
The AHA & AAP's Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills.
Length
4-5 hours online course and 2 hour skill session. The skills session includes discussion, practical application and a skills test.

Completion of the online 8th Edition NRP Provider Course: aap.org/nrp (additional online course fee applies).

Materials
Complete the required NRP Online Course prior to participating in the Skills Session. The NRP Online Course is a separate purchase from your course fee and can be purchased and completed by visiting aap.org/nrp.
